Pipe trench excavation
The pipe trench excavation is suitable for straight line, and the trench bottom excavation width is DN+0.30m. If the pipeline connection in the underground, the width of the bottom of the groove at the interface should be appropriately increased. The width of the bottom of the pipeline should not be less than DN+0.50m, so as to facilitate the installation and docking.
The minimum top cover depth when the pipe is buried shall meet the following requirements: 1 When buried under the roadway, it shall not be less than 0.80m. 2 When buried under the sidewalk, it should not be less than 0.60m.
When crossing the roadway does not reach the design depth, steel casing should be laid to protect the pipe.
When the pipe groove must be turned, the turning angle should not be too large, and the bending radius should meet the following requirements: PE pipe Allowable bending radius R (mm) D ≤ 50 30D; 50D ≤ 160 50D; 160D ≤ 250 75D; D> 250 100D .

Backfilling
When the pipeline installation is completed, it shall be backfilled immediately after acceptance of the concealed works. The following provisions shall be met when backfilling:
Prevent water from accumulating in the tank and cause the pipeline to float. If there is water, you should try to drain it.
When backfilling the pipe trench in the stone and earth-rock mixed section, the clay or sand should be loaded back to the top of the pipe 200-300mm, and then other miscellaneous soils should be backfilled after compaction.
Backfilling must be backfilled from both sides of the pipe at the same time, tamp the layer after backfilling one layer.
Generally, before the pressure test, the backfill should not be less than 500mm.
The large area backfilling after the pipeline pressure test should be processed under the condition that the pipeline is filled with water, and it is not suitable to be in the empty pipeline state for a long time after the pipeline is laid.
